These terms and conditions apply to all services, quotes, and agreements of Marcus Duurzame Technieken, located at Wolfshaegen 191, 3040 Huldenberg, company number BE0792.318.467.
We offer installations of charging stations (including Smappee), electrical inspections, and technical support for private customers in Belgium. Any additional services will be clearly discussed in advance and confirmed in writing.
All quotes are non-binding and valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
The prices stated include VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
Price changes due to external factors (e.g. suppliers, materials) may lead to adjustments, subject to prior communication.
We strive for timely execution of the work as agreed. You will be informed promptly of any changes to the schedule.
If you postpone or cancel the execution less than 48 hours before the scheduled start, charges may apply.
Invoices are payable within 15 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
In case of late payment, we reserve the right to charge reminder fees and default interest.
We work with care and in accordance with applicable standards and legislation. However, we are not liable for:
- indirect damages (e.g. consequential damages, loss of profit),
- damage caused by incorrect information or defective infrastructure on the customer’s side,
- disruptions caused by external factors (network issues, third-party software errors, etc.).
1. Legal and Installation Warranty
All works and installations carried out by Marxx Electrics are covered by a 2-year legal warranty on the proper execution of the works (conformity). This includes the guarantee that the installation has been performed professionally and in accordance with applicable standards.
2. Manufacturer’s Warranty on Products
For the supplied materials, such as solar panels, inverters, and home batteries, the warranty terms of the respective manufacturer apply. Marxx Electrics acts as the point of contact for warranty claims.
- Smappee Charging Stations: Standard 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- Easee Charging Stations: Standard 3-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- Veton Charging Stations: Standard 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- SolarEdge Inverters: Standard 12-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- SolarEdge Home Batteries: Standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- SMA Inverters: Standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- SMA Home Batteries: Standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- BYD Home Batteries: Standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
3. Battery Performance Warranty
The home battery is also covered by a manufacturer's performance warranty, guaranteeing that the battery will retain at least 70% of its original nominal storage capacity after 10 years or after reaching the manufacturer-specified total energy throughput (MWh Total Throughput Energy), whichever limit is reached first.
4. Exclusions
Warranties (both on labor and products) are void in the event of:
- Improper use, negligence, or lack of maintenance by the customer.
- External damage (force majeure, lightning strikes, water damage, etc.).
- Modifications, repairs, or interventions to the system by third parties without our express written consent.
- Failure to comply with the manufacturer’s conditions (such as required online monitoring).
5. Full Terms and Conditions
For detailed and current terms, Marxx Electrics refers to the official warranty manuals of the manufacturers, which shall always prevail over the summary in these general terms and conditions.
If a scheduled assignment is canceled more than 5 working days in advance, no charges will be applied. In case of late cancellation, we reserve the right to charge incurred costs or a fixed fee.
All agreements are governed by Belgian law. In case of disputes, only the courts of the district where our registered office is located have jurisdiction.
